Thank you for visiting my shop and taking the time to learn more about me.
My Name is Chris Csonka, I am a Husband and a father of three kids. I grew up in Graham, WA, making me a country boy at heart. My dad, Julius Csonka moved us out there when we were very young. After serving in the Vietnam War and overcoming cancer, he purchased a saw mill and settled down to raise his family. He used his saw mill to cut and sell lumber for people and help provide for his family. However, it was never business, but more so something he enjoyed and loved doing! He would always ask my siblings and I to help, but of course as a kid, I preferred to play around, but still gave the help he needed. After watching him and his passion for carpentry, I found myself wanting to do the same. Taking all the knowledge and skill he taught me throughout my life, I decided to use what I learned and opened a business for myself. Now, that same passion my Dad had, is instilled in me, and I can now provide for my own family, just like he did his. In 2016, I lost my Dad to cancer. I am so blessed that I got to spend my life loving and learning from a loving father, but more so an amazing man. I am proud to carry on his last name and I am lucky to have the amazing support from my own family.
I am now proud to say, what started as a hobby to provided a little extra for my family, has grown into a business. Knowing that I am able to do what I love and share some of my work with others and their families all over the world, is amazing! And I am very grateful!
I started as a Self Employed Dad with a goal to provide great quality work, but at a very reasonable price. Like all individuals, I also look for quality products at a great price. So I believe, looking for great, rustic, reclaimed item, that comes at an affordable price, is something everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy! That is one of the main reasons why I do my best to keep my prices down, but also provide top quality work. Its always so great to see pictures sent in from customers! As much as possible, I try to feature all my customers DIY projects on my instagram page (@csonkascustomrustics) and on Etsy.
I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to share my work with everyone!

HANDCRAFTED RUSTIC, SALVAGED METAL BRACKETS. METAL WAS RECLAIMED FROM A LOCAL METAL YARD NEAR THE TIDE FLATS BY THE OCEAN FRONT AND THEN FORGED AND BENT INTO BEAUTIFUL, WALL BRACKETS. ORIGINAL RUST IS CLEAR-COATED TO GIVE A RUSTIC FINISH AND INDUSTRIAL-INSPIRED CHARM TO THE MODERN HOME. GREAT FOR DOORWAYS AND FOR ANY ROOM IN YOUR HOUSE OR AS SIMPLE DÉCOR TO DISPLAY YOUR PRICELESS PIECES.
HANDCRAFTED RUSTIC SALVAGED LOGS AND LUMBER. WOOD WAS RECLAIMED FROM FALLEN TREES, MILLED UP, AND CUT INTO LUMBER. LUMBER WAS SALVAGED FROM VARIOUS SOURCES AND MAY VARY IN AGE. EACH PIECE IS SANDED DOWN AND STAINED TO ENHANCE THE WOOD’S NATURAL GRAIN AND DISPLAY ITS UNIQUE COLOR AND CHARACTER. ADDS A BEAUTIFUL, RUSTIC CHARM TO ANY ROOM OF THE HOUSE!
